At the beginning of September, in the joyful atmosphere of the new school year, teachers and students of the Ha Ca Kindergarten and Primary School branch in Khau Vai commune celebrated the opening of a brand-new school after many years of waiting.

Joy shines on the faces of Ha Ca students in their newly built, bright and spacious classrooms.

Ha Ca is a particularly disadvantaged village, with more than 80 percent of households classified as poor. In the past, the school consisted of makeshift, deteriorating classrooms where lessons were often disrupted during storms. Parents longed for a solid school where their children could study with peace of mind.

On August 16, the new facility was inaugurated thanks to the joint efforts of local authorities, parents, and the San Dinh Charity Community Group. The project, worth VND 1.4 billion, includes four classrooms, two staff rooms, a kitchen and dining area, a playground, restrooms, and essential teaching equipment. It is the result of community contributions and the generosity of benefactors who care for children in remote areas.

The new school has brought immense joy to both teachers and residents. “We are very happy. Now we no longer fear the rain or wind. We will study hard to make everyone proud,” said third-grader Vang Thi Nhung.

In the 2025–2026 academic year, Ha Ca branch welcomes 121 students, all from Mong ethnic families. More than just classrooms and walls, the new school represents hope, motivation, and a brighter future for teachers and children in this mountainous village.
